Our next CONNECT webinar offers a concrete look at this progress, focusing on the SmartCow Research Infrastructure, which connects Europe’s top research facilities to advance sustainable, efficient, and ethical livestock farming.

What to expect:

Real-world impact: Prof. Cecilia Cajarville, a successful applicant in AgroServ's Transnational/Virtual access programme, will present her upcoming project, "Enhancing Sustainable Beef Production." She will explain how she is using AgroServ to access SRUC’s respiration chambers (Scotland) and IRTA’s beef stations (Spain) to validate a new feed additive designed to reduce methane emissions by up to 17%.

Advanced tools: we will also showcase other services from SmartCow in AgroServ's Catalogue, with Frédéric Dehareng (CRA-W), who will introduce SpectroCraw—a standardized spectral database service available to all users.
