A new opportunity to be part of the AgroServ project and obtain free access to research services on agroecology

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 4th Call for Projects under AgroServ, a Horizon Europe project funded by the European Union. 

This initiative offers researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners from around the world transnational and virtual free access to cutting-edge research services in the field of agroecology.

The application platform will open on 16 June 2025, with an expected deadline for submissions on 15 October 2025.

About the Call

The AgroServ project aims to provide free transnational and virtual access to top-tier Research Infrastructures, fostering high-quality research and innovation in agroecology. By promoting transdisciplinary and transnational collaboration, we seek to address the multifaceted challenges of agroecology and drive the agroecological transition. This call invites projects from researchers globally to utilize our advanced facilities and expertise.

AgroServ requires research proposals to include at least two services from two different Research Infrastructures, available to browse on the AgroServ Catalogue of Services.

Researchers from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply.

Submission guidelines

Projects must be submitted through the online portal available in the application procedure page.
Once the application platform opens, applicants can create their submission profile and resume their application at anytime before the deadline date.

In order to submit their application, applicants must first contact facility managers of their requested services (contacts are visible on each service page in the Catalogue). After approval from facility managers, applicants can then proceed with their proposal submission on the application platform.

Please ensure that your submission is completed by the deadline of 15 October 2025.

Update on the 3rd Call results

Applications from the third call are currently under evaluation, and results are expected by mid-July or August.

Applicants from the third call, or any previous calls, are welcome to submit a new proposal in the upcoming call. 
However, those from the third call may only submit:

• A completely new proposal, or
• A refined version of their original submission, but only after the evaluation results are communicated.

This upcoming call offers another opportunity for innovative projects to join the AgroServ initiative and contribute to the agroecological transition.

A 5th Call for projects in our TA/VA programme is expected to be launched at the end of 2025.
